Host of Unashamed Recovery
Josh Hollingshead is the creator and founder of Unashamed Recovery Podcast. Josh started his journey in recovery from a 20 year porn addiction in 2014. It wasn't until late in 2015, and after several failed attempts at sobriety, that Josh found Celebrate Recovery at NorthPark Church in Meridian, MS.
After a severe relapse in 2017, Josh returned to the Celebrate Recovery and hasn't looked back. In early 2019 God planted the first ideas for Unashamed Recovery. By October of 2019 the podcast was launched and the rest is history.
Josh and his wife AnnaBeth have been married for over 10 years and live in Meridian, MS with 3 daughters : Kinley, Sadie Grace, and Millie.
Along with the podcast, Josh is a 911 dispatcher, and has served as the Men's Ministry Leader for NorthPark Celebrate Recovery since 2019. In March of 2022 he was appointed as the Central Mississippi State Representative for Celebrate Recovery.
Co-Host of Unashamed Recovery
Drew Smith was added as co-host of the Unashamed Recovery Podcast at the beginning of Season 2 in November of 2020. Drew has his hands in the local recovery community and is involved in
working with various groups to help teens overcome early traumas. One of the ways Drew does this is through the teen ministry arm of Celebrate Recovery
known as The Landing. The other way is being involved as a coach with several different local youth sports leagues in Lauderdale County.
In 2020, Drew founded Something Eccentric Life Coaching, and began meeting the needs
and engaging with broken people on a whole new level. Drew also travels the state of Mississippi spreading the message of hope in recovery
by sharing his testimony at local recovery meetings.
