It's been awhile but we are finally back with a brand new season and brand new episode of Unashamed Recovery.
We kickstart season 4 with a topic episode on something that is becoming more and more common in recovery circles around the country....CODEPENDENCY!
On this first episode of season 4, Josh sits down with Aislin Jayroe of Open Minds Counseling in Philadelphia, MS. We figured why not jump head first into season 4 and that is what we are doing with this topic on codependency. So much confusion, myth, and misinformation surrounds the very idea of codependency that it puts fear and anxiety into our minds before we even begin to understand it. Josh and Aislin break down what is codependency and connect the dots on how we can implement a game winning strategy in our recovery against it and also what the Bible says about codependency. You just may be surprised what we found as we destigmatise the c word.
